National-precedent phenomena in the linguocultural society and its importance for intercultural communication
Abstract
The national-precedent phenomena of a particular linguistic-cultural community determine the cultural specificity of national linguistic consciousness. Non-coincidences in the perception of national variants of precedent phenomena are often the cause of communication failures and intercultural conflicts. It is therefore logical to study national precedent phenomena in the context of intercultural communication, since the notions, the knowledge conveyed in them, are a necessary and obligatory condition for successful intercultural communication.
