Selection of methods and criteria for determining the optimal composition of the vehicle and tractor fleet

Abstract

The article discusses the approaches and principles of selecting a method for optimizing the structural composition of
the machine-tractor fleet on the example of the Terjola district of the Imereti region of Georgia. Based on a comparative
analysis of optimization methods and criteria, it is recommended to use the method of penetrating examination of the options
for the complex of agricultural work carried out during the year. According to this method, within the framework of a specific
work, the type and quantity of mechanized means should be selected in such a way as to achieve coverage of the costs incurred
on mechanized work by ensuring a reduction in the number of service personnel, energy resources and crop losses.
