Some issues of Georgian participation in the Second World War

Abstract
The article discusses the participation of Georgians in the Second World War. The main focus is on the statistical
difficulties in the ranks of the Red Army, What determines the approximation of the existing data about the participants or
those who died in the war, new data is analyzed. At the same time, the participation of Georgians in the Second World War,
on the side of Germany, is presented, as a fighting spirit to save their own lives or more because of the national idea, their
sincere thought about liberating Georgia from the captivity of communism.
