Abstract

Probability theory problems are considered textual problems and are solved using methods similar to those applied to
textual problems. Our methodological approach strongly advocates for the inclusion of probability search problems in school
mathematics curricula to leverage their developmental potential. Teachers' and students' willingness to integrate these into
educational practice highlights the methodological significance of this issue. We discuss theoretical and methodological
approaches for solving search problems. Specific methods include state space representation, reformulation, counterexamples,
geometric interpretation of probability, estimation, and logical game strategies. Each method is accompanied by
methodological recommendations.
