Abstract

Recent global research into using artificial intelligence for elementary mathematics education has shown substantial
benefits, including improved academic performance and increased student motivation. The primary focus of research is on
comparing the effectiveness of AI-based systems with traditional teaching methods. The article reviews AI systems suitable for
elementary mathematics instruction, confirming their effectiveness and identifying potential challenges. Solutions for these
challenges are proposed.
