Abstract

The article deals with the issues of entrepreneurship development in the Republic of Belarus, in particular, on the example of the Gomel region. The role of small and medium-sized businesses in the economy of the country and the
region is evaluated. The article proposes the use of regional coefficients of involvement in entrepreneurial activity, the method of application of which is tested in the article on the example of the Gomel region. The article touches on the issues of employment in the field of entrepreneurship and its structure by type of activity. The article also touches issues of trade and economic cooperation of the Republic of Belarus and Georgia.
