Development of Grammatical Competence Through the Use of Interactive Methods
Main Article Content
Abstract
The present paper examines the significance and effectiveness of using interactive methods in the development of
grammatical competence. The study discusses the concept of grammatical competence, its theoretical foundations, and the
principal approaches to its development. Particular attention is paid to various forms of interactive teaching, including
cooperative learning, group and pair work, role-playing activities, discussions, debates, project-based learning, problem-based
activities, and the integration of digital technologies. The research analyzes the importance of psychological and pedagogical
factors that determine the effectiveness of interactive methods within the educational process. The study demonstrates that
interactive approaches promote students’ active engagement, facilitate the comprehension and practical application of
grammatical knowledge, and foster the development of error-detection and self-regulation skills, motivation, self-confidence,
and positive attitudes toward learning. Interactive teaching transforms grammar into dynamic, functional, and purposeful
knowledge, serving not only as a foundation for linguistic accuracy but also as a crucial basis for the development of
communicative competence.
