Mathematical Games and the Winning Position Method
Main Article Content
Abstract
It is clear that each player tries to win during the game, for which he needs to get a winning position. Which the
opponent-the second player does not allow him. The winning position method is based on considering the position of each
player from the point of view of the player who has to make a move. The essence of this method is that we should start the
discussion from the end, the condition of the problem determines whether the last move is profitable or unprofitable. After that,
the analysis is carried out from the last move and all possible cases are considered, in which case the last move is profitable and
in which case it is not. After conducting a complete and comprehensive analysis, the same process is repeated for the next
penultimate move and so on until the first move. Obtaining a winning position by a player is the result of the player's strategy.
Strategy is a set of rules according to which the player must make his moves according to the opponent's moves in order to win.
The strategy of the player who starts the game must describe the first move. The article discusses specific tasks, and appropriate
methodological conclusions are made.
